The Role

This time, we’re on the lookout for an Assistant Buyer who will be working with Sara from our Buying team.
What you will be doing
The primary purpose of the Assistant Buyer is to provide full support to the Buyer in developing a commercial product offer that meets customer requirements to maximise sales and profit opportunities. This will be delivered through the effective monitoring of critical dates and commercial and strategic thinking. You’ll also manage a Buying Admin Assistant and will develop, support and motivate them in their role.
What we are looking for
The Assistant Buyer specifically requires someone with comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the buying and product cycles, manufacturing processes, costing sheets and margin calculations. You’ll have excellent communication and organisational skills, with the willingness to manage and coach.
