Harmans Water Primary School is looking to recruit a lively and energetic team player who enjoys working with children to join its dedicated lunchtime team.
You will join our motivated, friendly lunchtime controllers in securing the safety and welfare of students during the lunchtime break. The role will involve supervising the children during their lunch period, including effective supervision of pupils in the dining hall, in the playground, on play equipment, and on the school field or in classrooms on rainy days. You will need excellent communication skills with both young children and adults, as well as the ability to work under your own initiative or as part of an established team.
Previous experience of working with primary-aged pupils is preferred. Appropriate training will be provided. The post will be a permanent position, term-time only contract. Working hours will be for 1 hour and 15 minutes every day, with hours to be discussed at interview. There may also be opportunities to cover additional hours due to staff sickness.
If interested, please complete the application form, providing all requested information, particularly demonstrating any previous experience of working with primary-aged pupils. Visits to the school are warmly welcomed. For further information, please contact Michelle Jones at 01344 422196 or michelle.jones@harmanswater.co.uk.
