The role: We are looking for an experienced client facing professional with proven and exceptional customer service skills to join our office-based team. This is a challenging and stimulating position in the environmental sector, based in our Edinburgh office. You must be a dynamic team player with the ability to communicate in a professional, timely and effective manner with external and internal stakeholders. You will have a positive disposition, be self-motivated, and equally competent in both written and telephone communications to use bespoke systems. Being reliable, and highly organised, you will enjoy working as part of the communication hub within a high performing team. Main objectives and goals: Manage incoming client queries efficiently and accurately to meet needs of client and company, including service questions, complaints, and quotations. Establish rapport with clients, identifying and implementing service efficiency improvements Manage subcontractor performance, communicating effectively on daily basis to ensure exceptional levels of service maintained Update logistics system with new client sites, scheduling client inductions and liaising with other departments to ensure smooth setup coordination. Schedule collections on system in response to requests, considering route optimisation and client satisfaction. Support operations with administrative duties and projects, including stock take for internal bins, posters, stickers etc. Person Specification Fluent, clear, and professional English language skills are required for this role. Proven experience in client facing role (minimum 1 year). Excellent communication, influencing, planning, and organisational skills. Ability to prioritise and manage workload, effectively multi-tasking at pace. Credible, confident, reliable, and resilient.
