Qualified support worker (Child) - Familiar with PLO and adoption work
On behalf of our client, we are looking for an experienced and dedicated Senior Social Worker to join our team, supporting children and families in need. This is an opportunity to bring your skills and expertise to a rewarding role where you can make a real difference in children's lives.
As a Senior Social Worker, you will manage a complex caseload, conducting assessments, creating care plans, and working closely with families to safeguard children and improve outcomes. You will be involved in child protection, care proceedings, and preparing reports for court. Your ability to navigate challenging situations with professionalism and empathy will be essential.
We are seeking a candidate with at least two years of registration with Social Work England and substantial experience in children's social work. Familiarity with the Public Law Outline (PLO) process and adoption work is highly desirable. You should have a strong understanding of relevant legislation and a proven ability to manage risk and make evidence-based decisions.
You will also play a key role in mentoring and supporting less experienced colleagues, contributing to a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement. Strong communication and analytical skills, as well as the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team, are essential.
