Job summary We are looking to recruit a highly motivated and enthusiastic Healthcare Assistant to join our dedicated Ophthalmology Outpatient Nursing Team. You will work within our friendly and dynamic team, providing exemplary care to ophthalmic patients in the eye clinic setting. Our Ophthalmology Outpatient Department, situated in the recently opened £3M West Norfolk Eye Centre is an exciting place to work and provides excellent opportunities that will enhance clinical and professional development. If this sounds like the role for you, we would love you to get in touch Main duties of the job Care of patients in the eye clinic setting in general eye clinics and various sub-specialties including glaucoma, medical retina, vitreo-retinal, paediatrics, eye casualty and virtual clinic. Assessment of visual acuity, instillation of eye drops, visual field analysis, OCT scans. Care of patients in the treatment room undergoing intravitreal injection therapy.
