About the Role: We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Key Stage 2 Class Teacher to join our friendly and supportive primary school in Aylesbury. As a Key Stage 2 Class Teacher, your responsibilities will include creating an engaging and inclusive learning environment where every pupil is encouraged to thrive. Key Responsibilities: Fully plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 curriculum Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that promotes learning Monitor and assess pupils' progress, providing feedback to ensure continued development Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a cohesive approach to teaching and learning Manage classroom behaviour effectively, ensuring a positive and productive learning atmosphere Communicate regularly with parents and carers, providing updates on pupils' progress and achievements Contribute to the wider school community and participate in school events and activities Support the continued development of school initiatives and teaching practices Key Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Experience teaching Key Stage 2 Highly motivated and enthusiastic, with high expectations for pupils' achievement and behaviour Strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to work collaboratively with staff and parents Well-organised and able to plan and deliver effective lessons with excellent classroom management Proven track record of improving pupils' progress and attainment Commitment to the development of the whole school and a willingness to engage in professional development Benefits of Working with Dunbar: A supportive and welcoming school environment with a strong emphasis on professional development.
