The Pharmacy Department provides a service to a wide range of patients with diverse needs across a range of specialities. We operate a comprehensive ward-based, patient-facing clinical service backed by innovative technology. You must be registered with the GPhC (General Pharmaceutical Council).
Main duties of the job
1. Working as a member of the clinical pharmacy team providing a safe and effective service to a variety of patients.
2. The role is 80% ward-based, patient-facing. Taking an up-to-date accurate medication history for all patients, working with the multidisciplinary team to resolve queries.
3. Ordering patients' own medication ensuring sufficient supplies are available.
4. You will be a Pharmacy representative delivering a core service, answering Pharmacy-related questions or referring to the most appropriate colleague within the team.
5. Accuracy end checkers will support the dispensary workflow with a daily end checking slot.
6. Support the operational team as and when required with a variety of tasks to ensure timely delivery of Pharmacy supplies.
