Job Description
Responsibilities
1. Responsible for the project management proposal during the sales phase and serving as the customer interface for the proposal.
2. Coordinates with internal departments, including sales, solutions teams, and project delivery teams, as part of the sales process.
3. Ensures the correct identification, assessment, and quantification of all potential risks and opportunities related to the project scope.
4. Facilitates the handover to the project execution team and develops cost-effective strategies for sales projects, presenting to clients as required.
5. Works with relevant solutions teams and purchasing to prepare comprehensive proposals, including execution strategy, transportation, installation, and contract reviews.
6. Monitors competitiveness, conducts cost analyses, develops risk management procedures, and provides feedback on cost-saving initiatives to the solutions department.
7. Supports the development and maintenance of supplier relationships, ensuring favorable contract terms with support from the legal department.
8. Supports procurement for vessels, cranes, installation, and logistics, ensuring the accuracy of tender documentation and bids.
Requirements
1. A degree in a relevant engineering qualification.
2. A minimum of 10 years' experience in project or proposal management, with mandatory experience in offshore wind farm project sales, transport, cranes, or management.
3. Excellent IT skills, including proficiency in MS Office/Sharepoint.
4. Essential excellent communication skills in English, both verbally and in writing.
5. Adherence to sales project requirements, timely budgets, and identification of risks and opportunities.
6. Maintains knowledge of logistics and crane equipment available for the onshore wind industry in each European country, and develops solutions to optimize project budgets.
7. Updates knowledge of logistics available for the offshore wind industry, and works with the technical team to develop solutions to optimize project budgets.
8. Supports the contract negotiation and closure process, and the handover of project management solutions to the delivery team.
