We're a tight-knit team supporting six wonderful people with learning disabilities, aged 24 to 56, across three houses in Leicester. Each person brings their own personality, routines, and aspirations, making our time spent together truly meaningful. That’s where you come in in this role, you’ll unlock opportunities for people to live a gloriously ordinary life on their own terms, staying connected with their families, friends, and communities, and exploring new experiences.
As a Senior Support Worker, you’ll also mentor your team, provide proactive support, and be the go-to person for advice and encouragement. Your leadership, empathy, and ability to motivate will inspire your team to deliver their best every day. With your keen eye for detail and advocacy, you’ll ensure compliance while prioritising the health and happiness of everyone who draws on our support. You'll lead with heart, creating an environment where both your team and the people we support thrive. Whether it's rota management, finances, compliance, inspections, or the many other tasks that keep our houses running, you'll be on hand to make sure everything stays on track and everyone's voice is heard. You’ll also be supported by an experienced Frontline Manager, and have plenty of opportunities to grow your mentorship skills, empowering you to lead with even more confidence.

You might start your morning supporting a football-loving, trampoline-bouncing young man who’s bursting with energy and never turns down a throwback ‘90s playlist. Your enthusiasm and positive attitude could be just what he needs to start the day off right. Or maybe you’re helping someone get ready for the day, making sure they feel confident and put-together because looking good matters to them.

Walking far isn’t easy for her, so your UK manual driving licence will help her enjoy the world beyond her neighbourhood from shops and salons, to parks and coffee spots. About you
You'll be someone who sees the bigger picture, with the drive and ambition to help develop the service even further. Supervisory experience is desirable but not essential.
To succeed, you’ll need to be flexible, organised, and have a positive, solutions-focused approach. A keen attention to detail, along with good Microsoft Word and Excel skills, will also be beneficial.
As driving is part of the role, a UK manual driving licence is essential.
