Job Title: Commissioning Planning Manager
Salary/Grade: £51,736- £64,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Location: Larne

The opportunity:
Caterpillar’s Electric Power Division is looking for a Commissioning Planning Manager to manage the planning and organization of Large Electric Power Solutions (LEPS) commissioning activities. You will play a crucial role in ensuring LEPS and dealer networks execute the forthcoming wave of project commissioning efficiently and effectively.
What you will do:
* Plan commissioning activities by service dealers.
* Analyze dealer commissioning resources.
* Identify resource gap by service dealer territory and liaise with sales execution team and dealer to build a mitigation plan.
* Support the creation of a fast-track commissioning training curriculum.
* Coordinate training and certification of dealers' commissioning resources.
* Develop and coordinate a network of third-party suppliers and certified dealers.
* Plan resource needs for Caterpillar-led commissioning activities.
What you have:
Project Management - Level Extensive Experience:
* Plans, estimates, staffs, organizes and monitors significant projects.
* Maintains open communication among project participants.
* Provides the right level of detail as input for strategic plan development.
* Ensures the planning process is integrated with the overall business plan.
* Creates processes with provisions to accommodate change.
Analytical Thinking - Level Extensive Experience:
* Proficiency in analyzing complex data and making informed decisions.
* Approaches a complex problem by breaking it down into its component parts.
* Chooses among a diverse set of analytical tools according to the nature of the situation.
Relationship Management - Level Extensive Experience:
* Ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
* Communicates to dealers/customers and internal stakeholders.
* Conducts periodic reviews of work effort, progress, issues, and successes.
Education:
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field or progressive job-related experience.
Additional information:
* Up to 20% global travel requirement.
