Job Overview
The Newport Community Resource Team has an exciting opportunity for a motivated Falls Practitioner working within their Specialist Falls service. You will have a Health, Social Care or Paramedic professional qualification.
The position requires excellent assessment skills together with a history of effective multi-disciplinary team working. The successful candidate will undertake falls assessments and programmes with individuals in their own homes while also being part of an established and successful Consultant-led Falls Clinic team.
Main duties of the job
The Newport Falls Service is integrated with the wider Community Resource Team and partners. We work closely as a multi-disciplinary service to ensure a full holistic assessment is completed for the individual to help minimise the risk of falls and increase independence. The service also offers the successful candidate excellent learning and development opportunities.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
