The Role
Internal Account Manager maintaining customer satisfaction by managing day-to-day customer account activity, allowing commercial team to focus on business growth.
Timely and quality communication is key to achieving excellent customer service as liaison between organisation and customers.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
* Develop relationships with customers to understand their needs and expectations
* Handle purchase orders, maintain order book, and ensure timely delivery
* Proactively manage customer orders and resolve issues promptly
* Own and resolve customer complaints efficiently
* Support External National Account Managers, assist in new account set up and achieve targets
* General administrative duties to support the wider team
About You
Essential experience for the role is:
* FMCG industry experience
* FMCG forecasting experience
* Strong customer relationship-building skills
The ideal candidate will also have:
* Knowledge of commodity-driven products and pricing
* Understanding of the UK food industry
* Experience with SAP and CRM systems
