WHO are Melanie Estates?
Melanie Estates is a small independent Estate Agency, specialising in Residential property lettings and management.
You will be joining a team of customer-centric professionals, and as such the nature of this role requires an individual who will embrace our ethos and strengthen our team, supporting and contributing directly to our strategic initiatives.
WHAT will I get from working with Melanie Estates?
1. EARN: £6.40 per hour, 30 hours per week
2. EXPERIENCE: Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.
3. QUALIFICATION: Housing & Property Management Level 3 takes approximately 18 months.

WHAT will my DAY look like?
You will be responsible for ensuring the properties operate smoothly, maintaining tenant and Landlord satisfaction, and overseeing administrative tasks. Your daily tasks will include:
1. Dealing with all new landlord and tenant enquiries.
2. Onboarding new landlords and tenants.
3. Preparing property particulars for advertising.
4. Keeping landlords updated with the progress of their property marketing.
5. Liaising with contractors, tenants, and landlords on maintenance issues.
6. Managing tenant inquiries, leases, and renewals.
7. Coordinating property maintenance and repairs.
8. Minimum of 6 hours per week spent on apprenticeship work and training.
HOW does the Apprenticeship Work?
Working towards your Housing & Property Management Level 3 Qualification, you’ll attend monthly 1-2-1 meetings (online via Teams every month – NO classroom OR college!) with your tutor and learn about modules including decision making & collaborative working, housing legislation, tenancy types, and more! You will be given a minimum of 3 hours per week to complete any apprenticeship work (assignments, research, and projects) and will receive at least another 3 hours of training from your employer. All apprenticeship work and training is completed in the workplace, during working hours.
Minimum Requirements:
1. UK Residency – must have lived in the UK for at least 3 years.
2. Some office/admin experience.
3. Communication, team working & customer care.
4. Analytical, attention to detail & problem-solving.
