Job Description
We are seeking a HR Associate who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and managing competing priorities with enthusiasm. This is a varied role where you will be liaising with our business stakeholders and heavily supporting The HR team with a wide range of human resources functions.
The role includes administration and updating of various bespoke and Office 365 systems so you will need a keen eye for detail and have strong organisation and prioritisation skills.
There is a lot to learn about the Henry Schein business and our different functions so your role will give you the opportunity to utilise your strengths in communication whilst delivering a great experience to our Team Schein Members (TSMs).
Job Responsibilities
The role holder will be expected to be responsible for the following:
1. Provide an efficient administrative service of the company car fleet including collating, inputting and maintaining data.
2. Record and maintain correct data about everything related to the fleet. This will include ordering vehicles, driver schedules, vehicle logs, accidents, drivers' driving patterns and fuel expenses ensuring that the information is well-kept and accessible for easy use.
3. Provide support to the HRIS Insights & Benefits Partner where required.
4. Supporting the HR team with the recruitment process following a detailed start to finish onboarding programme.
5. Supporting the HR Advisors and HRBPs with advice to management on employee relations issues where appropriate.
6. Supporting with various administrative tasks such as preparing offer letters / standard terms and conditions of employment, right to work checks and the loading and inputting of new starters onto our HR system and benefits administration.
7. Maintaining accurate HR records and uploading detailed information onto E-files.
8. Maintain HR Systems and Files to ensure they are correct, up to date and compliant with current legislation.
9. Complete all on-boarding checks, including pre-employment Right to Work, new starter checklists and payroll notifications.
10. To handle personal data in accordance with the companies Data Protection Policy and Data Retention Guidelines (GDPR).
11. Support with general HR administrative tasks.
This role is extremely varied; therefore, the job description is not exhaustive, and the role holder will be required to participate in other duties as required by the business.
Job Skills & Experience Required
To succeed in this role, you’ll need the following:
Qualifications
1. Good standard of secondary education.
2. Accredited on the Microsoft Office 365 suite of programmes desirable.
Required Training Or Qualifications
1. Henry Schein suite of compliance training upon commencement of role.
Experience
1. Previous business administration experience is desirable.
2. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
3. Accuracy and attention to detail.
4. Strong organisational skills.
5. Experience working in a confidential environment where discretion is key.
6. An in-depth knowledge of Microsoft (Word, Excel & Outlook).
