A thriving, independently owned SME Group based in Bristol, expanding both organically and through acquisitions, have an exciting opportunity for an experienced, hands-on Group HR Manager to join their team and work across their Bristol sites.
Group HR Manager Role: This crucial position encompasses all aspects of HR management, including recruitment, training, engagement, welfare, performance management, and communications. Reporting directly to the CEO, the successful candidate will be a confident communicator with a strong commercial mindset, acting as a trusted advisor to the senior management team.
* Contracted Hours: 37 hours per week, with a 12:30 pm finish on Fridays
Responsibilities of Group HR Manager:
1. Provide first-line support, training, and advice to managers on employee performance and legal matters
2. Review and develop the Group's benefits offering in collaboration with the senior team
3. Design and review performance management processes, manage and retain talent, and plan for succession
4. Develop skills matrices and training plans to support employee development
