This SEN Teaching Assistant role requires someone who can build trust, implement behaviour strategies, and support emotional regulation. SEN Teaching Assistant - Key Responsibilities: Work 1:1 with a Year 4 pupil, offering emotional and behavioural support. Help the child engage in lessons and develop self-regulation strategies. Implement interventions to promote positive behaviour and social development. Collaborate with the class teacher, SENCO, and external professionals. SEN Teaching Assistant - Ideal Candidate: Previous experience as an SEN Teaching Assistant, behaviour mentor, or support worker.
