Position: Senior Support Worker

About: Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Support Worker to join their team. This is a full-time position with the opportunity for career progression within a supportive and inclusive environment.
Essential Criteria:
1. Minimum 2 years of prior experience working with older children with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) in a residential setting.
2. Minimum 1 year of experience as a Senior Support Worker.
3. Computer literate with strong report-writing skills.

Responsibilities:
1. Team Management:
* Supervise and support staff, encouraging the highest standards of care.
* Assist in team training, induction of new employees, and provide constructive feedback.
2. Standards and Administration:
* Ensure compliance with company policies, local authority, and Ofsted standards.
* Oversee documentation, including risk assessments, care plans, and financial records.
3. General Residential Worker Responsibilities:
* Provide care and control for children, maintaining a positive environment.
* Organize and supervise recreational and leisure activities.
* Contribute to assessments, planning, and review meetings.
* Adhere to company policies, including safeguarding and health and safety.
Senior Residential Worker Additional Responsibilities:
* Provide guidance and support to Residential Workers.
* Supervise designated workers and record progress.
* Offer advice on training needs and opportunities.
* Address issues or concerns with management.
Qualifications and Requirements:
* Diploma Level 3 for children and young people.
* Maintain professional conduct and code of conduct.
