ITT Primary Curriculum Tutor
0.8 FTE, 28.8 hours per week over 52 weeks per year
£33,550 - £40,073 per annum pro rata
We are seeking to appoint a Primary Curriculum Tutor to Norfolk Teacher Training Centre's Initial Teacher Training (ITT) programme. In this role, you will manage a portfolio of primary trainee teachers, including conducting observation visits, delivering centre-based curriculum sessions, and assessing trainee progress towards QTS.
You will be a qualified teacher with experience in trainee and teacher development in the primary classroom, as well as delivering professional development sessions tailored to the needs of primary trainee and qualified teachers. You should have a thorough knowledge of the Teachers' Standards and the ITT curriculum, along with experience in assessing progress. The role also involves participation in marketing and recruitment processes. The ideal candidate will have experience working in partnership with school leaders, link tutors, and mentors.
