Job Description
Our Private Sector and Financial Services teams focus on enabling customers to leverage technology in ways that improve their performance, efficiency, and customer experience and ultimately help them achieve a competitive edge in the market. We deliver this value by developing strategies, roadmaps and technology transformation, aligned with the customer's goals and needs.
Responsibilities include:
1. Establishing, building, and maturing relationships with the customers
2. Ensuring the development teams are cohesive
3. Delivering to delight our customers
4. Delivering effectivity and driving projects forward on time, to budget and best quality
5. Developing understanding of clients' business, applications, and users
6. Effectively communicating technical issues to business users
7. Translate business needs to technical specifications
8. Stakeholder engagement and management
9. Assertively raise risks and issues and drive to closure
10. Reporting and facilitating project meetings
11. Standard Delivery Manager responsibilities including commercial/budget management, scope management, detailed project planning, RAID analysis, governance, documentation and management of risks and issues
Qualifications
Qualifications:
1. Technical project management experience and the ability to manage projects no matter what the technology involved
2. Experience in delivering Software Development projects
3. Experience of establishing and running sizeable teams and ensuring effective delivery and team cohesion
4. Agile experience and experience of running Agile projects
5. Candidates with PRINCE2/PMP certification preferred
6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
7. Experience on JIRA, Confluence
8. Exposure or hands-on experience in SDLC and non-SDLC projects in emerging technologies
9. A deep-rooted understanding of core project management processes, including SDLC and Agile methodologies, is essential. Candidates should be familiar with best practices and be able to adapt and evolve these in line with project demands
