Description:
We are seeking a talented individual to join our MMC Treasury team at MMC. This role will be based out of our London office. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least 3 days a week in the office.
The role: Treasury Analyst
Reporting to the Senior Treasury Analyst, Treasury Front Office, the Treasury Analyst will perform cash and investment management, FX spot and hedging, and assist in the preparation, monitoring and tracking of cashflow forecasts.
We will rely on you to:
1. Manage Cash, Investment and FX:
o Investment management of client money portfolios with investments to 3 years (approx $4bn under management).
o Execute FX spot and forward hedge transactions.
o Cash manage client money and corporate accounts.
o Review investment and FX hedging strategies based on market research and dialogue with counterparties.
2. Reporting:
o Prepare analysis for management reporting, budgeting and forecasting of cash and invested funds and FX exposures, interest income, and yields.
3. Support:
o Banking aspects of new/changing business initiatives and corporate actions (mergers, acquisitions, and changes in legal structure).
4. Manage and monitor:
o Monitor bank service levels and address deficiencies.
What you need to have:
* Demonstrable experience within a finance support role; however, previous Treasury experience within a large multinational treasury function would be ideal.
* University (Degree) or equivalent.
* Highly organised with strong analytical skills.
* Good communication skills and the ability to liaise with senior stakeholders.
* Proactive attitude.
* Proficient in the use of Excel.
