Job Advertisement: Semi Supported Living Team Leader/Home Manager
Location: Milton Keynes
Hours: 40+ hours per week (Monday – Sunday, 24/7 on-call)
Schedule Flexibility: Days, nights, sleep-ins, weekends as required

About Us
Our well-established organization operates one semi-supported living provision in Milton Keynes and two in the Northwest. We provide tailored semi-supported living services for young people aged 16-18, specializing in their growth across employment, education, independence, self-esteem, and mental health.
Due to our continued expansion, we are seeking a Home Manager or an experienced Senior/Team Leader looking to take the next step in their career. This is a unique opportunity to join at the start of our expansion and play a vital leadership role in shaping our services.
Key Responsibilities:
* Complete weekly reports and ensure all required staff documentation meets a high standard.
* Develop and manage staff rotas and delegate workloads effectively.
* Lead and manage a team, conducting supervisions, appraisals, and fostering team development.
* Provide practical support to young people in essential life skills, such as cooking, cleaning, budgeting, shopping, and making appointments.
* Ensure all staff are up-to-date with training and introduce additional training tailored to meet young people’s needs.
* Collaborate closely with Social Workers and other external agencies to enhance support outcomes.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
* Passionate about making a difference in young people’s lives.
* Experience in semi-supported living (preferred) or working with young people.
* Strong knowledge of safeguarding and whistleblowing procedures.
* Proven ability to provide high-quality support to young people.
* Experience managing a team, including appraisals and workload delegation.
* Confident in report writing and maintaining accurate records.
* Excellent communication and leadership skills.
