As Assistant Shop Manager at our St Ives Charity Shop, you will support our existing shop management team as they continue to strive for excellence.
Taking full responsibility in the Shop Manager's absence, our Assistant Shop Managers will:
* Support with display and merchandising
* Manage stock deliveries and collections
* Be responsible for compliance, record keeping, and cash handling
* Recruit, train, motivate, manage, and support the creation and development of a loyal and engaged team of volunteers
* Be a brand ambassador for Woodgreen to work with the local community to raise awareness and engagement for our cause

With a salary of £23,400 pro rata per annum (equivalent to £12.00 per hour), this position is working 10.5 hours a week on a Sunday and a Monday. It is important to note that as Woodgreen Charity Shops are open 7 days a week, you may be required, from time to time, to provide cover to support holiday or absences for your Shop Management team. This may include working on a weekend or a Bank Holiday; however, we will endeavor to give you as much notice as possible as we recognize that you have a life too! There could also be the opportunity to support other shops in your region if you would like to do so.
This competitive salary will be complemented by:
* Pro rata equivalent of 36 days annual leave per year (inclusive of bank holidays), rising by 1 day each year to 40 days after five years
