Commissioning & Installation Engineer Remote with UK wide travel Up to 55k company car About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Commissioning & Installation Engineer to join our team, specializing in hydraulic equipment within the water industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commissioning and installing chemical dosing systems, chemical pumps, and associated instrumentation. This role involves significant travel across the UK, with overnight stays as required. Key Responsibilities: Commissioning & Installation: Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of hydraulic and chemical dosing equipment. Instrumentation & Controls: Configure, calibrate, and troubleshoot instrumentation related to water treatment and dosing systems. Fault-Finding & Maintenance: Diagnose and rectify faults in mechanical and electrical systems. Site Coordination: Work closely with site teams, project managers, and clients to ensure successful project delivery. Compliance & Safety: Ensure all work adheres to industry regulations, health & safety standards, and company procedures. Travel & Flexibility: Be willing to travel across the UK and stay away from home when required. Key Requirements: Experience: Proven experience in commissioning and installing hydraulic equipment, ideally within the water industry. Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of chemical dosing systems, chemical pumps, and instrumentation. Electrical/Mechanical Background: Understanding of control panels, PLCs, and process automation is beneficial. Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently. Flexibility: Willingness to travel UK-wide with overnight stays when necessary. Qualifications: Relevant qualifications in mechanical, electrical, or instrumentation engineering (e.g., NVQ, HNC, HND, or equivalent)
