Technical Support Advisor
£24,000 - £26,000, Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm, Burgess Hill, Pension, 23 days Holiday + Bank Holiday, Social Events
The Role
Our client, an established and growing business in the renewable energy sector, are going through a rapid expansion and hiring a Technical Support Advisor to join their team. Working in a busy role, you will be responsible for providing after sales and technical support to customers in relation to their renewable energy installations. Some duties include:
1. Take ownership of technical support tickets, ensuring high-quality and timely resolutions
2. Answering telephone calls from customers and resolving customer issues
3. Handling customers technical enquiries
4. Liaising with 3rd parties to provide updates and solutions to customers including manufacturers, electricians and roofers.
5. Using and updating company CRM
6. Provide answers to FAQs and share technical articles and support guides with customers.
7. Stay updated on new product features and ensure knowledge sharing within the team.
Requirements
The successful Technical Support Advisor will have experience working in a Technical Customer Service or after-sales position. Experience or exposure to the renewable energy sector would be useful but is by no means essential if you can demonstrate an ability to develop technical knowledge of products in your field. You will have fantastic communication skills and be comfortable using computers and systems. Excellent attention to detail is also vital to the role. You will be joining a dynamic, vibrant team so a good sense of humour is a must! They also sometimes have dogs in the office so it would be beneficial if you love animals!

Package
£24,000 - £26,000 per annum depending on experience
9am - 5pm (with 1 hour paid lunch)
