We have a vacancy for a receptionist/administrator to join our approachable, professional practice team. We require a caring and friendly individual with a calm manner and the motivation to help the practice in delivering a high level of care to our patients. You should work well within a team and have an exceptional standard of organisational and communication skills. The ability to remain composed and work effectively in a fast-paced environment is essential.
Previous experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be given for the right person. The starting salary is £11.44 per hour; however, this will be adjusted if you have relevant experience. Duties will include:
* Welcoming patients and visitors, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring enquiries appropriately.
* Maintaining confidentiality of personal information.
* Assisting in maintaining the smooth running of the reception office by carrying out general administrative and reception tasks in line with practice guidance.
* Contributing to team effort by working effectively as a valued team member.
