Permanent - Part Time (30 hours per week) Stockdales is a charity based in Sale, just south of Manchester City Centre, with a wealth of experience in making a difference to children, young people and adults with learning disabilities. We’re looking for a friendly, well-organised and committed person to join our small but busy fundraising team as our Fundraising Officer. About the role This is a key role in the small Fundraising team, assisting with our fundraising activities. In particular, raising the profile of the Charity and developing and running fundraising initiatives and events alongside the Fundraising Manager. The role will be responsible for all administrative duties in the department. In this rewarding role, you’ll have the opportunity to engage directly with the families and individuals we support, gaining an understanding of their experiences and needs and sharing their stories with supporters to help raise vital funds that make a real difference. Some of your day-to-day duties will include: Leading on the organising of successful Fundraising events. Representing Stockdales at other events and functions organised by third parties when required. Cultivating relationships with volunteers, individual supporters and partnerships (local businesses, schools and community groups). Delivering presentations to groups and schools in the local community. Carrying out administrative duties in the department, such as maintaining all fundraising, finance and administrative records, monthly bank reconciliation and receipts. About you: We’d like you to have previous experience in a fundraising or events roles coupled with experience taking photos and videos for social media platforms. You’ll be passionate and results-driven, a natural communicator who enjoys engaging with people and comfortable managing multiple projects at once. A creative thinker - someone able to develop innovative fundraising ideas, you’ll be organised and detailed-oriented and will have knowledge of LinkedIn. A degree of flexibility is required for this role as it involves some evening and weekend work and you must hold a driving licence and have access to a vehicle.
