Key Responsibilities:
* Lead criterion: Lead testing teams, providing technical leadership and guidance, ensuring that quality, time and cost objectives are met.
* Driving the testing of SaaS solutions across teams and defining the appropriate depth and breadth of tests using a risk-based approach.
* Act as an escalation point for defects or issues preventing delivery of testing activities.
* Lead reviews of test activities and provide guidance on improvements and lessons learned and other Agile ceremonies.
* Drive collaboration by aligning what teams are working on and highlighting the key dependencies, impacts, risks and priorities with stakeholders.
You will be part of our DWP Place Team. Our QA Testers are at the centre of innovation at DWP. When we try something new, you and your team tell us if it works, spot defects and resolve issues. You'll make sure our product works for our colleagues. You'll give technical and strategic leadership to multiple Testers across our product teams. That means overseeing the product, support and test, that includes system and/or acceptance tests, coordinating both functional and non-functional specifications and providing guidance on test planning. You will work with stakeholders to set priorities, objectives, and timescales to successfully deliver high-quality outcomes by identifying risks and resolving issues efficiently. DWP Place is a SaaS based platform and you will own the overall Test Process within your team ensuring the systems are fit for purpose.
