Salary: £70-75k plus package
This FBP role partners with the operations function in a major FMCG business in the North West and will suit someone with the knowledge, expertise, and confident communication skills to work in this agile, fast-paced environment. The Finance function is integral to the site and woven into the operation from the leadership team into all areas. This collaborative and integrated working style makes a real difference to the Finance function and those working within it.

This management role will see you leading a small team of Finance Analysts and Cost Accountants striving for your team to deliver complete partnering support. Due to the pace of the site, you will be responsible for working to timescales which will require initiative and drive as expected in this sector. Presenting to the Senior Team requires confident communication skills and an intuitive and investigative approach. Being comfortable to be in and amongst the operation, working with line managers in the business to address the daily challenges every manufacturing business faces.
Key Responsibilities:
* Accurate reporting of all operational results.
* Supporting the Operations function, providing analytical insight.
* Leading the team, setting high standards.
* Managing risks and opportunities proactively.
* Ensuring the systems in place are effective for the finance team for future demands on the business.
* Contributing to the planning and budgeting process for the Group.
* Consistent budgeting accuracy.
* Assisting with the integration of the finance module as part of the business-wide S&OP process.
Minimum Requirements:
* Previous finance support roles understanding the demands that come with deadline-driven manufacturing environments.
* Demonstrable leadership and team-building ability through ownership and accountability.
* Good communication with interpersonal skills to develop key relationships across the business and the wider Group.
* Exceptional analytical and reasoning skills.
* Attention to detail with an eye for accuracy.
* Experience in larger businesses with multiple sites - desirable not essential.
* Emotional intelligence, able to integrate well with teams and lead effectively.
* Strong presentation skills in formal and informal settings.
* Balanced and down-to-earth approach, able to challenge confidently and professionally at all levels.
* Strong understanding of IT and supply chain systems/processes.
