Joining the AA as our Contractor Scheme Manager, you will be driving the performance of a Garaging Network, ensuring their time and effort is focused to deliver great business and customer outcomes. You will be delivering a high-quality service to AA members and Police schemes, through account & performance management and quality inspections of a network of contractors.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage the relationship with AA appointed Emergency Breakdown Services, Police Schemes, and Support network of contractors.
* Carry out regular performance management visits with AA appointed Contractors to ensure consistent cost-effective, high-quality customer outcomes are being delivered.
* Develop strong, effective working relationships with external stakeholders and partners, balancing their needs with those of the business to ensure a world-class experience for the end user.
* Present data-driven insights for your area of responsibility, explaining possible implications and proposed actions. Weigh up all options and perspectives, clearly communicating rationale and expected outcomes.
* Investigate complaints/claims & manage to a satisfactory conclusion.
* Perform quality inspections of external suppliers to guarantee adherence to contractual & legal requirements.
* Knowledge of current legislation in relation to vehicle roadside assistance and recovery operations.
* Manage the Auto Salvage sites to dispose of vehicles on behalf of the AA and AA members ensuring all legal processes are adhered to.
What will I be doing?
Capability, Knowledge, and Experience:
* Experience and Knowledge of the Motor Industry
* Previous people and relationship management experience.
* Experience with Microsoft office- Excel, Word & PowerPoint
Personal Characteristics:
* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
* Supplier and client management experience
