Job summary We are looking to recruit a new member of our nursing team at Carnon Downs Surgery. We have a vacancy to replace an experienced General Practice Nurse but we are interested at receiving applications from nurses at all stages of their nursing career as we are potentially open to reshaping the current format of our nursing team. This post is currently 28hrs per week and part of a team of 3 Registered Practice Nurses, a Nurse Associate and 2 Healthcare Assistants but this could be flexible for the right candidate. Main duties of the job Assist in and perform routine tasks related to patient care as directed by the Practice Manager, Lead Nurse and GP Partners including but not limited to: Cytology, Wound management, Immunisations, Phlebotomy, and all treatment room tasks. Long Term Condition management would be an advantage but not essential. The Post holder must be keen and willing to supervise student nurses and support junior members of the team.
