Job purpose:
To assist with a variety of tasks which will assist the person who needs care and support to live their personal and social life according to their wishes and interests.
This role can involve overnight support on short holidays or in client’s own home.
About the employer:
Our client is a 33-year-old severely disabled male with Cerebral Palsy living in the KY5 area of Fife who is looking to recruit a Personal Assistant to provide support with aspects of daily living.
Main duties:
Social duties
keep in touch and socialise with family and friends
attend medical appointments if required
support with interests such as football, music, bowling, cooking, going to the theatre, eating out and being a radio presenter
Personal care: Support will all personal care needs. Support with all transfers using a hoist.
Domestic duties: support with all domestic tasks as required.
These duties may vary from day-to-day.

Specific requirements: Driver required. Non-smoker. DBS required for the role. Previous experience & Manual Handling training an advantage, but training can be provided.
Hours of work: 10 hours per week –
Friday 6 hours – 09:45am-15:45pm to support with radio show.
Saturday 4 hours in the morning.
Rate of pay: £12.00 per hour
