The Financial Controller has complete financial accountability for the Bath site, ensuring that the factory's financial performance is in line with Rotork's Growth+ Strategy.
Answerable to the Regional Financial Controller, yet working hand in glove with the Plant Manager, the Financial Controller will head the local finance team at Rotork Group's largest plant. Adopting a Business Partner approach, you will oversee the accurate reporting of all site management and statutory accounts, as well as the creation and examination of all business forecasts, QPRs, and AOPs.
This position is ideal for a driven and innovative finance expert eager to drive change in a forward-thinking organisation.
Qualifications
Ideal Experience
1. Minimum 5+ years accounting or finance experience, ideally in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
2. Hold a recognised professional finance qualification.
3. Managed the financial impact and outcomes of a variety of business or commercial issues. Demonstrated the ability to review financial areas and identify control weaknesses suggesting actions for improvement.
4. Proven leadership experience with direct and indirect reporting relationships.
5. Experience in Accounting for Lean Manufacturing would be a plus.
6. Proficient in spreadsheets, MS Office, and used several ERP systems. Familiar with financial consolidation tools (SAP BPC, Hyperion).

3. Coaching style to enable team members to continually develop.
