Responsibilities As an Insurance Assistant, you will: Efficiently manage incoming emails and tickets to the Helpdesk and handle ongoing telephone calls. Create and circulate regular reports, analyze management information, and support decision-making processes. Input data into BIG and collaborate with on system enhancements. Develop strong working relationships with key insurers, brokers, and internal personnel. Make outbound calls to brokers to increase retention rates, reduce lapse rates, and boost new business. Support product developments and ensure compliance with FCA requirements. Consistently embrace and comply with company values, maintaining high standards of service and professionalism. Qualifications Education: Educated to GCSE standard or equivalent. Experience: Prior experience in the insurance industry, preferably in a broking or underwriting environment. Customer service experience and familiarity with insurance software systems are essential. Skills: Strong interpersonal, communication, planning, organizational, and administrative skills. Adaptability to changing environments and efficiency under pressure. Proficiency in computer literacy, analytical skills, problem-solving, and attention to detail. Professional Attributes: Ethical standards, regulatory knowledge, and a commitment to maintaining professionalism and integrity. Day-to-Day Activities Manage daily helpdesk operations, including responding to emails, tickets, and phone calls. Generate and analyze reports to support business decisions. Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to enhance system functionality. Engage with brokers to support business retention and growth initiatives. Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and company policies.
