Your Role – Occupational Therapist Band 6
Service Line: Female Personality Disorder Service
Cygnet Maple House is our 16 bed highly specialised service providing assessment, treatment and rehabilitation for women with personality disorder and complex needs.
The aim of the treatment, rehabilitation and re-socialisation programme is to prepare the individuals in our care either for transfer to an environment of lesser security, or for a life in the community.
We have a multi-disciplinary team (MDT) comprising of a hospital manager, clinical manager, consultant psychiatrist, specialty doctor, psychologist, assistant psychologist, occupational therapist, therapy co-ordinator and nursing and support workers. We work closely with the local community, including dieticians and primary care.
We promote physical health, wellbeing and meaningful occupation as part of our treatment programme, using strong community links to facilitate individualised wellbeing plans.
Post: (Band 6) Occupational Therapist
Base: Cygnet Maple House, Kneeton Road, East Bridgford, Nottinghamshire, NG13 8PJ
Salary: Up to £36, 808
Caseload: Up to 12 patients
Responsible to: Service Manager for Line management supervision & Occupational Therapist (Band 7 or above) for professional supervision.
Hours: 40 hours, 5 days per week
Occupational Therapy Directorate
Under the leadership of our occupational therapy directors we support over 150 Occupational Therapists. Working together as a large team we provide support to each other across the group, with the opportunity to be part of specialist interest groups & become involved in service development.
Every service line has a clinical lead occupational therapist to lead and develop evidence based practice and agreed occupational therapy pathway.
We ensure our occupational therapists have a voice through participating in service model development, utilising the expertise and support of our clinical lead occupational therapists.
