Junior Sister- Whitley Ward INTERNAL ONLY
We are looking for a motivated, dynamic and flexible Registered Nurse to support the team on Whitley Ward to ensure strong leadership across the team for a 12 month Maternity cover Secondment.
Main duties of the job
1. Provide effective managerial and clinical leadership of ward/department staff.
2. Undertake individual performance reviews, appraisals, identify and implement personal development plans for junior staff.
3. Assist in the effective management of the ward/department consumables budget.
4. Comply with all Trust policies and national guidelines.
5. Deal personally with patients, families and carers in order to aid resolution of complaints.
6. Represent the ward at meetings as and when required.
7. Facilitate open and effective communication within the ward team.

Education
* Registered Nurse
* Evidence of Leadership/Management and speciality development
* NVQ Assessor
Experience
* Significant experience of which includes work in post qualification speciality
* Experience in mentoring, facilitation, teaching, assessing, coaching
* Experience of involvement in successful Change Management
* Must have recent clinical experience in speciality area

Salary: £37,338 to £44,962 a year (To be Confirmed)
