We are looking for a Research Assistant to join our BrainTwin research group, working on an interdisciplinary AI for healthcare project the explores the interfaces that can facilitate effective interactions between health sciences and AI. This project could explore different aspects of health data to develop models and predict important outcomes to support healthcare sector. Project partners include the Centre for Integrated Neuroscience Discovery (CIND) at Department of Neuroscience and the Centre for Advanced Photonics and Electronics (CAPE) and bioelectronics lab at the Department of Engineering at University of Cambridge, Royal Papworth hospital, Alan Turing Institute, and Haleon, whom provide guidance, support and opportunities for the project members to seek training and collaborations to widen expertise knowledge. The successful applicants will be expected to have following core skills and experiences: A Bachelor degree in a computer science, engineering or relevant specialist subject with a strong emphasis on AI or a bachelor degree in life sciences with a postgraduate degree in AI or ML, or equivalent experience Strong motivation for developing AI solutions for real world problems. Excellent programming skills with Python AI/ML libraries and any other AL/ML programming platforms Experience in working with large datasets Organisational skills and the ability to manage their own workload Communication skills and the ability to communicate research clearly to diverse stakeholders.
