About the role
At Tesco, we are dedicated to creating a safe and secure environment for our store colleagues and customers. With retail abuse at record levels and shoplifting on the rise, we are committed to implementing innovative industry leading solutions to protect our team members and reduce losses.
We are seeking 2 proactive and collaborative Associate Product Managers to join our team, focusing on the development and implementation of safety and loss prevention measures. These roles are critical in ensuring the safety of our store colleagues and reducing shoplifting incidents across our UK & Ireland stores.
You will be responsible for:
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritise safety and loss prevention initiatives.
* Conduct market research and gather insights from store colleagues to understand their safety concerns and needs.
* Develop and manage product roadmaps for safety and loss prevention solutions, ensuring alignment with company goals and standards.
* Work closely with engineering, design, and operations teams to enhance our internally built CCTV systems and deploy them across all UK & ROI stores.
* Lead the development of a new body-worn camera solution for large format stores.
* Explore and implement possibilities for live incident response to support colleagues in distress.
* Monitor and analyse the performance of safety and loss prevention initiatives, making data-driven decisions to improve effectiveness.
* Communicate progress and updates to stakeholders, including senior management and store colleagues.
* Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in workplace safety, retail abuse prevention, and loss prevention.
You will need
* A passion for product management, and a keen interest in the retail and security, safety & video domain.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
Nice to have:
* Direct product management experience, agile methodologies, or a related role.
