In this role, you’ll collaborate with a diverse range of stakeholders, contributing your expertise to drive meaningful change. You'll play a key role in helping the business unlock the full potential of Geographic Information System (GIS), shaping its future and influencing its success.
You’ll join our Asset Information Strategy team, where we set the strategic direction for Asset Information Capability Improvement across People, Process, Data, and Systems. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic and forward-thinking team.
As a Geo-Spatial Data Officer, you will be at the forefront of maintaining the integrity of GIS. Your key responsibilities will include ensuring the accuracy and auditability of GIS data. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in developing the GIS application to provide a robust platform that enables National Grid Electricity Transmission (NGET) to optimise future designs, plan upcoming projects, and deliver work in the most efficient and productive manner.
Must haves:
1. Proven experience with ARC GIS or similar Geographical Information Systems.
2. Experience with FME (Feature Manipulation Engine) Form and Flow.
3. Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to hold discussions with engineers and teams.
Pay and Benefits
• £46,415 to £55,000 pa + Excellent Benefits Package.
• 37 hours Monday – Friday.
• 26 days annual leave plus 8 statutory days.
