This is a six month to twelve month contract, with the possibility of going perm. 2nd line activities: Support & Troubleshoot Windows 10/11 desktop environment Support & Troubleshoot MS Office Windows 11 Migration deployment Backup and Recovery of files folders, using Veritas and Veeam Hardware/software procurement using global portals and local suppliers Managing logon scripts Technical Skills Required for 3rd Line IT Support Engineer : Installing, Support, Manage, and troubleshoot Windows Server (Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, File Services, Group Policy management, RDS, IIS, server hardware troubleshooting) - Versions 2016/2019/2022 Installing, Support, Manage, and troubleshoot Storage: NAS/SAN (Netapp/EMC/HP), Hyper-convergence, Virtual SAN (desirable) Install, Configure and troubleshoot Networking (VOIP - Mitel, DECT Telephony, VLAN, VPN Clients, Cisco, Firewall (desirable) Installing, Support, Manage, and troubleshoot Virtualisation VMWare/HyperV platforms experience Cyber Security awareness and remediation skills Installing, configuring, and maintaining MS SQL Server PowerShell scripting (desirable) Understanding of automation tools such as infrastructure as code ansible (desirable) Experience with automation of IT tasks Understanding of transfer protocols (sFTP, FTPS, etc) Understand the backup and recovery process of servers.
