We are seeking a friendly and efficient Salon Receptionist to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our clients, providing exceptional customer service while managing the day-to-day administrative tasks of the salon. This role requires strong organisational skills, a professional phone etiquette, and proficiency in various computer applications to ensure smooth operations.
Responsibilities
1. Greet clients warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in procedures.
2. Manage appointment scheduling and confirmations using salon management software.
3. Handle incoming calls, providing information about services and answering client queries with professionalism.
4. Perform data entry tasks accurately to maintain up-to-date client records.
5. Process payments and manage transactions efficiently.
6. Maintain a clean and organised reception area, ensuring it is welcoming for clients.
7. Assist with clerical duties such as filing, typing, and general office support as needed.
8. Collaborate with salon staff to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.
Qualifications
1. Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably within a salon or beauty environment.
2. Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
3. Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills, both verbal and written.
4. Attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining accurate records.
5. Ability to work well independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating a positive attitude at all times.
This position will be one full day every Thursday 9.45 - 20.00 and one Saturday a month. Flexibility to work additional days/school holiday cover is essential (to cover the other receptionists' holidays).
