BSc Radiography or DCR (+ CPD / experience) HCPC registration Substantial clinical experience post qualification gaining general radiographic experience underpinned by theoretical knowledge Have detailed evidence of appropriate ongoing professional development (professional portfolio) Have evidence of mandatory training and appropriate skills acquired. Exhibit effective day to day multidisciplinary team and leadership skills Consistently demonstrate excellent communication abilities Have the ability to motivate others Possess developed judgement and decision-making skills and be reflective in thinking and outlook Have the skills to supervise, instruct and train student radiographers on placement and trainee assistant practitioners. Ideally you should Have a level 3 or equivalent teaching and assessing qualification. Basic knowledge of IT skills. Physical skills required - dexterity, co-ordination and sensory skills required for precise positioning of patients with narrow margins for error, specialised keyboard skills for manipulation of images. Good self-organisational skills, working within codes of practice and broad occupational policies using own initiative to deliver the service within the local situation.
