Evolito develops and manufactures class-leading, lightweight, high-power, and high-torque-density electric propulsion systems for a range of aerospace markets, including EVTOL, Unmanned Aerial Vehicles and General Aviation.
As well as ultra-high performance, low-weight electric motors and controllers, Evolito specialises in high integrity, bespoke battery systems for the aerospace and defence markets. The team is scaling rapidly and has ambitious growth plans over the next twelve to eighteen months.
As part of our current high-growth phase, we are looking for a Production Planner to join the team to work with the Programme, Manufacturing Engineering and Production teams to ensure that we achieve our schedules efficiently.
We are looking for candidates who have detailed knowledge of ERP and MRP, BOM and work order management, as well as a passion for continuous improvement.
Key responsibilities will include:
* Supporting programme reviews to ensure that we are planning in line with the top level programme schedules and customer milestones.
* Supporting ERP roll out when necessary and working closely with the Manufacturing Engineering team to setup MRP.
* Ensuring that work centres are setup appropriately and that we are planning based on capacity and levelling to remove constraints.
* Working with the Manufacturing Engineering and Config. team to ensure on BOM setup and maintenance/improvements.
* Supporting the set up of work-to lists, pick/shipping lists and automating where possible.
* Managing plant stock levels where appropriate.
Skills and experience required:
* Experience in a similar role within a dynamic, fast-paced manufacturing environment.
* Sound understanding of Lean Working Methodologies.
* Demonstrated track record of engineering ability in an electrical or mechanical discipline.
* Experience working with ERP/MRP.
* Instinctive problem-solving skills coupled with a sound analytical approach.
* A 'self-starter' attitude with energy and enthusiasm, with the ability to thrive in a small business environment.
* Ability to work under pressure while managing conflicting demands against tight deadlines.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Good attention to detail.
* A flexible approach to work.
* UK driving license and ability to travel.
Desirable:
* Experience working within a Tier 1 environment.
