With approximately 130 employees based across 4 locational hubs within EMEIA (Europe, Middle East, India and Africa), we create value, collaborating with many teams to provide outstanding commercial and financial support. The purpose of this role is to support the Rebates team within EMEIA Sales Finance.
Description
The rebates analyst will be responsible for the building and maintenance of Excel rebate calculation files and supporting the team’s automation efforts of centralised rebates. This will require understanding the rebate structures for our channel partners, building flexible solutions utilising Macros/SQL to produce high quality calculation files which can be maintained by other rebates analysts. The analyst will be required to collaborate closely with many teams across Apple including the wider EMEIA rebates team, Global Business Solutions (GBS) and Sales Finance Hub teams to ensure accurate calculation and timely execution of key rebate deliverables. The role will also require the analyst to identify opportunities for process improvement within rebates, to design and implement new automated solutions and deliver successful improvements to current business processes. This position will suit an experienced problem solver, with attention to detail, strong business and finance acumen, a positive attitude and the ability to communicate and negotiate within many levels of an organization.
Minimum Qualifications
* Experience within Finance, Operations or Sales desired.
* Skilled user of business intelligence tools: Business Objects (Advanced Report creator), Excel (Advanced macro).
* High business acumen; ability to engage with all levels of the organisation for process improvement and solution development.
* Ability to provide leadership and operate and thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
* Degree level education.

* Proven ability to translate business processes into interactive analytic solutions/reports.
* Detail-oriented and self-motivated individual able to function effectively when working independently or in a team.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills.
