As a Senior Care Organiser within the Out of Hours Team, you will work with people who are known to adult social care who have been referred into the out of hours service.
This is a responsive service, providing short-term support and intervention often when a change in circumstances has resulted in risks to a person’s independence or safety.
You will support people through periods of crisis to enable them to remain living independently or to minimise risks. You will work collaboratively with the Hospital, Active Recovery, other multi-disciplinary Out of Hours Teams, locality teams and Safeguarding Teams to provide flexible and responsive support to people to live safe and independent lives.
You will join an established and experienced team to support the delivery of ASC services out of hours. You will be expected to practice in an autonomous manner, utilising problem solving, and decision-making skills seeking guidance and supervision accordingly to ensure core values that underpin the Council’s conduct at work are demonstrated and positive practice is promoted.
The postholder will hold NVQ level 3 in care or equivalent, have a wealth of knowledge in relation to Adult Social Care and Safeguarding. It is also essential to have experience of supervision of staff including conduct, competency and sickness, in addition to having excellent working knowledge around implementation of performance management including production of reports, data, monitoring and action
This is a 32 hours position however we are also interested in offering casual positions.
