Thyme is a restored Cotswold manor and farm. It is a family story where a passion for the land, food and entertaining merges with a love of local heritage, beauty and conservation.
We took time to make Thyme. Working with the historic buildings and the land that surrounds them, we have created a thoughtful place with love and attention lavished on every detail.
We hope you will experience a real connection to the land, the seasons and to nature, and we invite you to rest, relax and enjoy this English country idyll that our family call home.
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the gardening team at Thyme, a beautiful country estate in the Cotswolds which is home to thriving business comprising bedrooms, spa, restaurant, cookery school village pub and gardens.
To be considered you will need to have a passion for all things horticultural, an eye for detail and be able to ensure all your work is carried out to the highest standards.
Ideally you should have good gardening experience and have worked in the gardening sector, with good plant knowledge and be able to fit into the existing team of gardeners.
The work itself is varied and always interesting, we have a kitchen garden that produces fruit and vegetables which are used in our restaurant, so some experience in this area would be very beneficial. You should be able to communicate with guests and other staff, and comfortable working with a wide range of garden machinery.
Full time hours available from April until October 2025.
