A specialist school in Manchester is looking for a Children's Mental Health Assistant to support young people and children with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs. As a Children's Mental Health Assistant, you will be based inside the classroom supporting students within education. Class sizes are small to ensure the needs of each pupil are met. You will be responsible for supporting their educational, social, and emotional development.
Requirements
The desired Children's Mental Health Assistant will:
* Have a caring, supportive, and nurturing personality
* Have experience working with those with social, emotional, or mental health needs
* Have relevant experience working with children, young people, or vulnerable adults
* Be patient, caring, and adaptable to each young person you will support
