The main objective of the role is to support the delivery of a portfolio of non-project related contracts covering both operational and corporate areas of the business. Key duties will include: Supporting the implementation of day-to-day commercial contract administration, performance monitoring, and supplier relationship management activities. Acting as the first point of contact for day-to-day contract management enquiries, ensuring adherence to contract management policies and procedures. Supporting the reviewing and updating of internal contract management practices and processes, whilst working collaboratively to provide trend analysis to help increase commercial efficiency. Assisting the Contracts Manager with the commercial negotiation of contracts, scrutinising costs, and challenging suppliers. Working closely with key internal stakeholders, ensuring correct contract hand-off and defining future strategies through robust contract management. You will have a minimum of 2 years' experience working within any construction or civil engineering related industry. This is a perfect opportunity for a Graduate, Trainee, or Assistant Quantity Surveyor or a Commercial Administrator looking for more responsibility.
