Senior Nurse Analyst
Salary: £36,750pa
Location: Manchester/Liverpool/Leeds/Southport/Hybrid

Purpose of Role:
To manage and be part of a small team of nurses who provide an assessment on the merits of a potential case depending on the initial information provided, advise on which medical records and additional documents are required to further determine the case prospects. In addition, the team will also complete a detailed review of the records, pagination, and chronology and on occasion decide on the merits of the case.

Main Responsibilities:
* Managing a small team of nurse analysts to ensure SLA's and input KPI's are met
* Reporting to the Nurse Manager and HoD regarding team performance
* Completing weekly 1-1's and yearly performance reviews
* Undertaking File Reviews and liaising with the QA to monitor standards
* Identifying training and development needs within the team
* Adapting to a managerial role alongside the nurse analyst role
* Understanding auditing and reporting tools including Power BI
* Promoting and assisting with the implementation of evolving AI tools across the team

Essential Skills and Experience:
* Minimum of 3-5 years' post-qualification clinical experience in NHS practice/clinical setting
* Minimum of 2 years' as a nurse analyst
* Ability to adapt to a managerial role within a fast-growing team
* Excellent communication skills
* Ability to drive and support a diverse team in accordance with KPI's
* Ability to manage the team in accordance with HR policies
* Ability to work within a team both remotely and in person
* Highly motivated, organised, and proactive
* Ability to work under pressure while maintaining high standards
* Ability to work efficiently with the QA and Manager
* Positive attitude to change
* Ability to deliver constructive feedback and update on business developments
* Experience leading progression towards completing RA1s
Desirable Skills and Experience:
* Ability to interpret and drive a team using data, including Power BI
