Your Role as an SEN Teaching Assistant:
In this varied and rewarding role, you will:
Provide personalised one-on-one and group support to students with a range of learning needs, including ASD, MLD, SLD, PMLD, and SEMH.
Assist teachers in planning and delivering engaging lessons, adapting materials to meet individual student needs.
Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and support staff to create a comprehensive learning experience.
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment, using behaviour management techniques to ensure every child feels safe and valued.
Support students with personal care and mobility needs, promoting independence and dignity.
Build meaningful relationships with students, parents, and staff, contributing to the school's welcoming community.
