Job Description
Working within the Supplements and Feeds team, based in Fordham (Cambridgeshire), you will be performing analysis on a wide range of product matrices, testing products for substances prohibited in sport and also verifying key nutritional parameters Protein. Our testing and 'Informed' certification programmes support elite athletes, manufacturers and general consumers - promoting 'Science for a Safer World.'
Tasks to be undertaken include:
* Performing extraction techniques – Solid phase extraction, liquid/liquid and automated liquid handling
* Using high-spec analytical instrumentation for chromatography and mass spectrometry – GC-MS/MS, LC-MS/MS and HRAM
* Performing instrumental analysis to verify protein content.
* Data analysis and review using TraceFinder and Masshunter applications.
* Working within an ISO17025 accredited laboratory.
Qualifications
* Degree level or equivalent in Chemistry or related subject covering analytical techniques and instrumentation.
* Experience of working in a food testing / analytical laboratory would be desirable.
